bugnplay.chbugnplay.ch is a competition for young people who are fascinated with multimedia. The objective is to promote creativity where art, technology and science meet. The contributions submitted should bear the artist's own virtual or practical signature, distinguished by originality and innovation: poetry machines, dancing robots, wild websites, eye-popping video experiments etc. |
Collaboration with small theatresThe Migros Culture Percentage collaborates with small Swiss theatres. The goal is to support local organisers and to organise performance opportunities for artists. This allows the public to discover exciting developments in the variety show scene in regional theatres. |

Cultural OfficesThe Cultural Offices in Basle, Berne, Zurich and Geneva offer artists reasonably-priced logistical support such as video editing stations, minivans and advice. They help them help themselves, without placing administrative hurdles in their way; the artists do not have to submit applications. The website also offers a wealth of useful information, such as the online version of the handbook of public and private cultural promotion. |

Home Made – laboratory for music and mediaHome-made electronic musical instruments are the central focus of the project entitled Home Made. Hardware hacking is the (legal) art of converting banal everyday electronics into devices that produce surprising sounds. In workshops, concerts and presentations, musicians show the possibilities of such do-it-yourself art. |
IntegrART"IntegrART" is committed to expanding the definition of culture beyond the standard limits. The collaboration of artists with and without disabilities is creating new forms of expression. |

In the high-riseThe "underground theatre" above the roofs of Zurich regularly presents the pick of the best contemporary variety shows from Switzerland and abroad. What is special about the programming is the diversity of genres presented: cabaret, comedy, magic, pantomime and masque can be seen on the high-rise stage. Many of the programmes shown are Swiss premiere performances. |

m4musicm4music is one of the most important meeting places of the national pop music scene and unique in its form as a festival. m4music is made up of three different components: the Demotape Clinic, which attracts hundreds of applications from newcomers; the Conference, where the changes in the pop music world are debated in podium discussions; and the Club Festival, which presents acts from Switzerland and abroad on three evenings. |

Migros Culture Percentage ClassicsGottlieb Duttweiler initiated them in 1948, and now the Migros Culture Percentage will lead them into the future: In 2009, the Club House Concerts became Migros Culture Percentage Classics, thus continuing the rich tradition of bringing music fans and classical music aficionados into contact with acclaimed international orchestras, maestros and soloists. In addition, the concerts will henceforth feature talented musicians from Switzerland as well. |
Migros Culture Percentage JazzThe new Migros Culture Percentage Jazz concert series promotes young Swiss jazz talent. The tours combine performances by internationally renowned bands and young up-and-coming groups from Switzerland. |

Musiques SuissesThe Musiques Suisses CD label documents Swiss classical music history. The Grammont Portrait label of the Work Group for the Promotion of Swiss Music provides portrayals of composers and performers. About 20 CDs are published every year. The catalogue lists over 250 titles. The CDs are sold worldwide. |
MyCulture.chIn 2007 the Migros Culture Percentage celebrated its 50th birthday with the anniversary competition "MyCulture.ch". Young people from throughout Switzerland were invited to submit their own ideas for cultural projects. The most exciting contributions were implemented in the spring of 2007 and performed that summer. |

Steps – International Dance Festival SwitzerlandSteps is the Migros Culture Percentage dance festival – the biggest of its kind in Switzerland. Every two years Steps showcases dance companies from various continents on stages throughout Switzerland. The programming of the festival takes into account the diversity and broad spectrum of forms, styles and new trends in contemporary dance. |
Try-outs for children and youth theatreThe project "Try-outs for Children's and Youth Theatre" is a means for the Migros Culture Percentage to support organisers who produce new, unstaged plays and artist groups who perform existing plays in new regions. |
